I didn’t expect to fall in love with a garden… again. But here I am, swooning over every blooming petal, furry animal, and quiet corner of The Garden in Ciudad de Victoria, nestled right in Bocaue, Bulacan. Who would’ve thought that just a short drive from Manila, you’d find a place that feels part enchanted forest, part zoo, and part Instagram heaven?

If you’re planning a sidetrip near the Philippine Arena, make sure this gem is on your radar. It’s not just another garden—it’s a full-blown nature experience with a twist of magic.
Let me take you on a little journey.

The Entrance That Feels Like a Fairytale
Walking in, you’re greeted by a path lined with orchids, soft music playing in the background. Sounds a bit dramatic, but it really felt like I was entering the Queen’s private garden. The entrance fee is P500—and honestly? Sulit. Just the peaceful walk was already worth it. It instantly washed off city stress.
At the end of that flower-lined tunnel, I was met by a bright little bird that seemed like a Disney sidekick. I named him Rio (mentally, of course).

Flower Power, Everywhere
Every corner was filled with flowers. I’m no botanist, but I could tell they weren’t your regular backyard blooms. Some were imported and needed air-conditioning! Yes, there’s a massive greenhouse that almost made me forget I was still in Bulacan.
Inside, it was so silent, you could hear crickets. Legit enchanted forest vibes.
There were no labels, no bragging signs—just rows and rows of flowers that quietly demanded your attention. I didn’t even try to figure out which was which. They were all beautiful in their own way. It’s similar to the cafe nearby Bocaue that we visited right before going here.
A Huge Greenhouse!
I’ve seen many greenhouses in my travel life, but this one? Wow. It was huge, cool (literally), and packed with flowers that looked like they belonged in a Disney film. There’s even a café inside the garden! Imagine sipping hot tea while surrounded by greenery and quiet. Peak “soft life,” am I right?
And yes, there’s a romantic bridge. Because what’s a dreamy garden without one?
Koi, Zen, and a Bit of Japan

Just when I thought I’d seen it all, I stumbled upon the Japanese Koi Pond. It’s not just a pond. It’s a full-on Zen garden experience—complete with waterfalls, artisan stone works, and a peaceful little bridge. Time literally slowed down here. You’ll want to just sit, breathe, and listen to the water trickling.
Right beside it is a Japanese-style house. I’m telling you, the themes here are on point. They didn’t just throw plants together—they curated the whole experience.
Not Just Plants—There’s a Zoo Too?!
Here’s the twist: The Garden in Ciudad de Victoria isn’t just a garden. It’s also home to the Animal Kingdom. Lions? Check. Chimpanzees? Yup. Alpacas, porcupines, camels, a white carabao (yes, albino!), crocodiles, and so many birds and snakes. It was like visiting a mini safari—right after chilling in a Zen garden. Wild, right?

If you’re traveling with kids (or kids-at-heart), this part will definitely spark excitement. Plus, there’s even a merry-go-round that’s free for everyone. It’s small but enough to make you smile. Or scream. Whichever comes first.
A Place for the Gram (and the Heart)
Let’s be real: if you’re on the hunt for an Instagrammable tourist spot in Bocaue Bulacan, this is the one. From flower domes to hanging bridges to koi ponds—it’s a photographer’s paradise. But even if you’re not the selfie type, you’ll still feel something here.

It’s the kind of place where couples take prenup shoots, families take Sunday strolls, and solo travelers (like me) come to reset.
What’s Nearby?
The beauty of The Garden? It’s just a few steps away from the Philippine Arena, so it’s the perfect sidetrip in Bocaue, Bulacan. You can make a day out of it—watch a show or concert at the arena, then escape the crowd in this peaceful haven.
And if you’re wondering if the area’s still being developed—yes, it is. They’re working on even more features, including hospitals, schools, hotels, and even a mega bus terminal that could make this area the next BGC of the north. The whole Ciudad de Victoria complex is really aiming high.
Also, the famous korean temple is also nearby. Give it a visit!

Final Thoughts: Why You Should Go
I’ve been to many nature parks, gardens, and zoos—but there’s something different about this one. Maybe it’s how they blended everything so thoughtfully. Maybe it’s the peaceful vibe. Or maybe it’s the sense of pride knowing this is something we have right here in Bulacan.
So if you’re craving something a little magical, a little educational, and a lot relaxing—The Garden in Ciudad de Victoria is calling.
And yes, I’ll be back. Probably for the café. Or the big panda. Or just to breathe.
